Rachel and Party Of The Century Nothing happens casually and Giorgio & Rachel story is the real proof!!! Everything happened in a very weird way the day Giorgio was driving to the airport, heading to New York to record with Ron Carter. Right before boarding, Giorgio was on the phone with artist and friend Simone Borghi, complimenting for his latest album release. The two were chatting about Party Of The Century and when Giorgio mentioned New York, he remembered that Rachel Z played a fantastic piano on Simone's record and asked his friend for Rachel's contacts! That was insane... Before taking off, Giorgio dropped a txt message to Rachel explaining he was flying to New York for the Party Of The Century and it would have been heaven if she accepted to come onboard. Giorgio even mentioned he was going to track with Ron Carter and if she accepted, she would have been playing piano on the same track! When Giorgio got off the plane and entered a taxi heading to Manhattan, he switched back on his mobile phone and can you believe it?!?! The little mobile device sounded like a new txt message was in and that was Rachel saying: "I don't know who you are, but I do love this vibe, I am going to come for the session my new friend!" The session went incredibly well and from that very moment Giorgio and Rachel became best friends, actually even planning to record more stuff together! Almost one year later Giorgio was back in New York for the mastering and the same night Rachel joined him for dinner and she's been the first person to listen to the final master of Party Of The Century! Rachel played a fantastic acoustic piano at Skyline Studios with a C7 yamaha (previously owned by Hitfactory studios) on the song:
